Day of the Dead- is this the English name? :P i don't know really, but what i know is- i hate this holiday. Its boring and all that walking to the graveyards- its just.. depressing :/ well, but the day is almost over so its ok xD I just realised that we were to write a paragraph for academic writing.. :|
By the way, i got a book which I encourage you to read :D the title is- "The Given Day"(Polish title-"Miasto niepokoju"). Really great, ambitious book :)

You're right...I got the same problem... I've just lost almost all day... but it's polish tradition and we have to respect it...

OdpowiedzUsuńWe (with my boyfriend) don't leave Warsaw nor visit ours relatives'graves that day. We don't want to get stuck in horrible traffic jam and get nervous. We do it another and more quiet day:)
